Buffon a step away from improving his own achievement.

The Legend Gianluigi Buffon is set for another record in his glamorous career. Juventus goalkeeper has not received a goal in the last 10 games of the A Series and is very close to improving his own achievement for the most consecutive “dry” minutes in the Italian elite.
In the next round, Juve welcomes Milan and Buffon has to keep his sheet clean for 43 minutes to update the record.
With a zero draw against the new JAL 2013, he led his series to 931 minutes and sent third place to Sebastian Rossi’s 1993-94 achievement when the former Milan goalkeeper did not receive a goal for 929 minutes.
Buffon`s current record of 973 “dry” minutes dates back to the 2015/16 season. His series ended with Andrea Belotti’s goal in the Torino derby. However, Juve’s goalkeeper is far from the world record, which is owned by Pereira de Matos. In the 1992/93 season the Brazilian recorded 1816 consecutive “dry” minutes.
