Manchester United`s midfielder Ander Herrera said his conscience remained clean despite the charges against him for bargaining.
The Spanish authorities are currently investigating the victory of Zaragoza over Levante by 2:1 on May 21, 2011. An investigation is underway to see if there were any pre-match payments to secure the victory of Zaragoza.
At that time, Erera played precisely for Zaragoza, and now it is investigated, because the Valencian judge has resumed the case again. The 28-year-old player claims to be totally innocent, as his lawyers say.
“I have never had and will never participate in settling of football matches!” Herrera wrote. “If I ever be called to testify in any lawsuit, I will respond with readiness, my conscience is pure!”
“I love football and I believe in fair play on and off the pitch.” says the Spanish national.
