Manchester United’s new star Alexis Sanchez has been convicted of cheating on the Spanish government’s copyrights at a time when he played for Barcelona between 2012-2013.
Sanchez is sentenced to 16 months in prison, but has agreed with the court and will not be in jail. In addition to all the money that he has to reply plus the interest on them, he acknowledges the falsification of the copyright sale of his photos to a foreign company in an attempt to avoid paying taxes.
The Chilean has given testimony to the court via a video link from his home in London on January 16th, while he was still an Arsenal player. Now Alexis has accepted his sentence and has to pay 890,000 pounds or go into the jail.
